Future Park and Fresh Market

Today is Sunday, 13 January 2019. I wake up to do shalat at 7am, forgive me Ya Allah (/_\). I late wake up because last night we have a lil party and sleep at about 12 or 1 am. We fries a lot of crab stick and watching movie (Bird Box) with drink some soda at that night.

So today we are going to The Future Park. We are going there with Taxi, the cost is about 400 baht from Watpangiw School to The Future Park. Ajahn Neung told us that we cannot go there without Thai Buddies. So I ask to my buddy, glad Aern can accompony us. We met Aern and Em (Aern’s friend) at The Future Park. This is my first time I met them, nice to meet you Aern and Em ^_^)/

At The Future Park, we eat MCD, because KFC has no rice, you know Indonesian have to eat rice then it can be called “eat” if no, it is just a “snack” haha. I cost 74 baht at MCD (meanwhile it can be for 3days xD), this is the menu:

After we eat at MCD, we walking around The Future Park. There is a lot of famous brand stand at The Future Park like the body shop, etude house, h&m and many more, so I’m just do my window shopping xD.

Ariani, Mia, Ika, Dita and Amara go back to dorm first, while me, Al, Cath, Jean and Fiqri still want to explore The Future Park. There is too many cute things that I really want to buy, but I remember that I still have to survive here for the next 3 weeks haha. So I just bought this because I need to use it every Wednesday 😀

Not long after we back to the dormitory, we are going to The Fresh Market. It’s not far, we just need to walk because The Fresh Market is around Samkhok School, haha alhamdulillah. At The Fresh Market, I bought thai bubble tea 10 baht, rice 5 baht and 10 baht (sharing with Mia) for this food (I don’t know what it’s name, please comment below if you know :D). There is a free food too (YEAAY >_<), crepes. Yeaay, I like crepes. We can choose the topping too, I choose egg with tomato sauce. The taste is delicious. Alhamdulillah

At the night, Mia cook Indomie goreng. We put some crab stick too. Yummy ❤

Celebrate Children’s Day #2

We still celebrate Children’s Day 😀

But, today is not only Watpangiw students that attend this celebration, I think of all the children from Pathum Thani Province come to celebrate Children Day. The activity is just same like yesterday, but the location is not at Watpangiw School Dome. I don’t know what this place name 😀
We come here with chinese buddies and picked up by school car, we go there at afternoon and back to dorm at about 6PM.

Celebrate Children’s Day #1

Today we celebrate Children’s Day at Watpangiw School Dome.

There is so many doll in front of stage. WOW! I’m amazed! This school is very loyal hahaha. There is also bicycles, more than 4! It’s all will be given to students.

The students from each class performed something ‘cute’ I think hihi >_< after they have performed their dance or choir, they will got their gift. Also they have band performance by students from Samkhok School 😀 and this song is often played at any festival:

The celebration is start from morning until afternoon! After performance from children finish, they have activities for children, like games center. Of course they will got gift (AGAIN!) at every games center.

We got gifts too 😀 I got milk, soda, and cupcake 😀 thank you Watpangiw, today we all have a good day!

Sirindhorn Science Home

Our first School Trip ❤ 😀

Today we join with students to go to Sirindhorn Science House, I think this is a part of Children’s Day Celebration. There student can learn all about science with a fun way. They also play games and get a reward.

Staff there give us a paper that we don’t understand because it’s writen in thai haha, but I see that if we come to one stand and the other stand, we just give that paper and the staff will sign it. We can get a rewards, the rewards is depend on how many sign we have. So, more we come to stands, more sign we get and more rewards we can get 😀

Class Observation #2

Today is Buddhist Day. After flag ceremony, the students give their foods from home to the Monk. Also, we give 5 baht and for the return we got this key chain. They do this once a month. So, if you give 20 baht, you will got 5 keychains.

I have 2 class for today:

Class Observation #1

We go to school at 8AM and attending the flag ceremony. It’s amazing! because they have marching band for the ceremony, they are students from prathomsuksa. After the flag ceremony, we introduce our self to teacher and student. I’m so nervous at that moment hahaha 😀

They didn’t do the flag ceremony at school dome for today, because there is a sport festival. Students also do meditation everyday, it is a part of the ceremony. This is the song for the meditation:

This is my first day come to school and observe the class. My teacher mentor at Watpangiw School is Ms. Christine. Today I observe class K.1/2 and K.2/4. Both class is using english (of course this is english class haha), but teacher sometimes using thai language (at Ms. Christine class) and body language at Ms. Brina class because she cannot speak thai. Ms. Christine is from Phillipine and Ms. Brina from Germany. So many foreign teacher here, but almost from Phillipines.

Watpangiw and Samkhok School

After the orientation from VRU, we are separated and move to school dormitory. Me, Mia, Ariani, Catherine, and Al will move to Watpangiw School. It is a primary school but also have kindergarten.

We arrived at Samkhok School, Ajahn Neung and Ajahn View accompany us to the school by van. We have to met the school director for introduced our self and our purpose to be there. Because Samkhok and Watpangiw is nearby, students who will teach in samkhok will also live in watpangiw school dormitory.

While waiting for the director, I see the students practice dance. I have see this in drama, so this is my first time saw it live, it’s so interesting

At the dormitory, we also have buddies from China. They also teach in Watpangiw, they teach Chinese for kindergarten and primary. We have 5 Chinese buddies, Evelyn, Eleven, Maggie, Max and April.
